Welcome back to Technique Tuesday!
Continuing on our string of movements and techniques to strengthen, protect and prevent injury in our shoulders we learn 2 new movements this week!
The first is a Blackburn. It is a static hold in 4 different positions that are designed to strengthen different parts of the rotator cuff and supporting muscles in different positions.
Stay light, keep good positions and stabilize your shoulders!
We also cover some shoulder external rotations that are great to pair with the Blackburns.
Try this sample warmup and see how your shoulders do!
3 Rounds
1 minute of Blackburns
3 Turkish Get Ups on each side
10 External Rotations each arm
See you next week!!
