We have been going in depth lately about the effects of sitting too many hours a day and using Janda’s Crossed Syndrome to help us predict pain and tightness in certain areas of our bodies. Then each week we have been dissecting these and teaching you how to care for your body and avoid that tightness and weakness that is almost inevitable if you sit!
Having tight hips and lower back will lead to pain in your lower back and diminish your range of motion in your hips. One of the results of this is having a weak core and abdominal muscles.
To correct this we need to stretch and mobilize hips and lower back while strengthening your abs. Here are some of our favorite exericises to get a stronger core.
