Johnny and Heather have only been part of the Peak Family since April, but it feels like they’ve been here their whole lives! They are always positive, fun and uplifting to everyone they encounter. Let’s get to know this Power Couple even better….
Who are you? Tell us a little about you guys, your family and your life….
We met in college, have been married 17 years and have 3 kiddos. Kaylee-14, Ashlyn-11, and Logan-9, and a goldendoodle named Hazel. We stay busy with sports activities and enjoy watching our children play softball, lacrosse and competition cheerleading. We serve in the middle school ministry at our church, Gwinnett Church.
What are your hobbies?
We spend most of our time at ball fields or gyms…but we love to be on the lake or Jeeping when kids activities allow. We are also channeling our inner Chip and Joanna Gaines as we remodel our home.
What brought you to Peak?
Our daughter started first working with Caleb following recovery from a big hip surgery and some time of physical therapy. We fell in love with the gym and trainers and knew we wanted to get healthy.
How long have you been a member at PSF?
Since April…almost 4 months.
What is something we might not know about you?
Johnny can play the guitar and bass…and Heather can play the Ukulele.
How has being a member here affected your life outside the gym?
We are feeling stronger and able to keep up with the kids much more ease. Our goal is to be our fittest by age 40!
What do you enjoy most about working out with your family?
It helps us hold each other accountable and we think it is important to teach the good habits to our kids while they are young.
If you could have an unlimited supply of one item, what would it be?
We would choose time. With our busy schedule, a little extra wouldn’t hurt!
What is one of your big goals for 2017?
Johnny- to deadlift 400lbs, and to be ready to compete in the first Peak Competition in January. Heather-to back squat 80k, get to her goal weight, and to be the strongest she has ever been.
